Sign in on the Android app with the same Fretscape account you used on the web, then close and reopen the app. Pro usually shows up within a minute.

Walk through these in order

1. Same account on both

In the Android app, open the user menu and check which email you're signed in as. It needs to match the account you bought Pro on (the one you were signed into on the web at the time of payment).

If it doesn't match, sign out of the Android app and sign back in with the right account.

2. Close and reopen the app

The Android app picks up the tier change the next time it loads. The fastest way:

  • Swipe Fretscape out of your recent-apps list.
  • Tap the Fretscape icon to reopen it.

That makes the app refresh your account from our servers.

3. Wait a moment, then try again

Pro usually shows up on other devices within ten seconds. If you've just paid on the web and immediately switched to your phone, give it a minute and reopen the app once more.

Still showing Free after all of that

Email help@fretscape.com and include:

  • The email on your Fretscape account
  • Your Stripe receipt number (Stripe emails it after purchase)
  • Roughly when you paid
  • That you're seeing Free in the Android app specifically

We'll check from our end and either switch your account to Pro on Android manually or tell you what's needed to get it sorted.
