Fretscape does not see or store your card details. When you upgrade to Pro, the payment is handled by a specialist payment service that sits between you and us — Stripe when you buy on the web, Google Play when you buy in the Android app. Your card number, expiry, and security code go straight to them and never touch our systems.

What Fretscape keeps

After a successful purchase, we keep a short record so we know your account is on Pro:

  • That a purchase happened, and on which platform.
  • The product (Pro), date, and currency.
  • A reference ID so we can match the purchase if there's a question later.

That's it. No card number, no CVC, no billing address held with the card.

What the payment service keeps

Stripe and Google Play each hold the full payment record on their side, including:

  • Your card details (stored securely on their systems, never shared with us).
  • The receipt for the purchase.
  • Any refunds or chargebacks on the transaction.

If you need a receipt, an invoice, or a copy of your billing history, contact the payment service directly. They have everything; we don't.

Who can see what

  • You — you can see your active plan in Fretscape, and your full payment history through Stripe or Google Play.
  • Fretscape support — we can see whether you have Pro and a reference for the purchase, but not your card details.
  • Payment services — they hold the card information under their own security standards. Stripe and Google Play are both established payment providers used by millions of businesses, with industry-standard protections in place.

Refunds

Fretscape offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on Pro, no questions asked. Where you ask depends on how you paid:

  • Bought on the web? Email help@fretscape.com — Stripe does not handle refunds directly, so this is the only route.
  • Bought on Android, within Google's self-serve refund window? Request the refund from your Google Play account.
  • Bought on Android, outside Google's self-serve window but still within our 30 days? Email help@fretscape.com and we'll ask Google to refund on your behalf.
