The reset email goes out within a minute of you submitting the form. If nothing has arrived after five minutes, it's usually one of three things: it's in spam, you typed the wrong email, or the account was created with Google sign-in and doesn't have a password to reset.

Check spam and promotions folders

Search your mailbox for messages from hello@fretscape.com or with the subject "Reset your password". Gmail often files emails like this under Promotions or Updates instead of the main inbox.

Work or school addresses sometimes block these messages altogether. If you use one of those, try a personal email address you can also sign into.

Check the email address you submitted

Go back to the Forgot password page and re-enter your address carefully. If you typed the wrong address, the reset email went somewhere else — submit again with the correct one.

If you have more than one email address, the one you used to sign up might not be the one you tried here. Try any other email address you might have signed up with.

Are you sure you have a password?

If you originally signed up with Google, you don't have a password to reset — the Google account is your sign-in method. The reset email won't help here. Instead, go to the login page and tap Google to sign in.

If you're not sure which method you used, try both. Google sign-in won't conflict with an email-password account that shares the same address.

Wait two or three more minutes

A few email providers — especially work and school addresses — delay this kind of email by a few minutes. Don't keep tapping Submit every 30 seconds either; if you ask too many times in a short window, Fretscape will pause sending more for a bit. Wait five minutes total before trying again.
