No. Fretscape does not sell your personal data to anyone, ever. We don't trade it, rent it, or hand it over for advertising.

What we do share

To run Fretscape, we use a handful of outside services — and some of your data passes through them as part of normal operation. Specifically:

  • Analytics — Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, so we can see which features get used and where people get stuck.
  • Payment processing — Stripe (web) and Google Play (Android), so you can buy Pro.
  • Email delivery — for the automated emails Fretscape sends you, like confirmation links and password resets.
  • Hosting and performance monitoring — so the site stays up and we can diagnose issues.

In every case, these providers only receive what they need to do their job, and they're contractually required to handle it accordingly. The full list of categories is in the Privacy Policy.

What this means for you

  • You won't get marketing spam from Fretscape, and we won't pass your email to third parties so they can send some either.
  • You can turn off analytics through the cookie consent banner or by resetting your preferences from the Cookie Policy page. See What cookies does Fretscape use? for the details.
  • You can ask for a copy of your data or have it removed at any time — see How do I exercise my privacy rights?.

If anything in the Privacy Policy doesn't make sense or you want to double-check something specific, email help@fretscape.com and we'll explain.
