故障排查移动端

Google Play already knows you bought Pro — it just hasn't fed that through to Fretscape yet, or your Fretscape sign-in doesn't match the Google account that paid. Close and reopen the Android app, make sure you're signed in with the right account, and give it a minute.

Step by step

  1. Make sure the Google account on your phone is the one that bought Pro. Open the Google Play app → tap your profile picture (top right) → check which Google account is selected. If you bought Pro under a different Google account, switch to that one in Play first.
  2. Make sure the Fretscape account is the same one you bought on. Open the Android app, open the user menu, and check the email. If it isn't right, sign out and sign back in with the right account.
  3. Close and reopen Fretscape. Swipe Fretscape out of your recent apps and tap the icon to launch it again. This makes the app refresh your account from our servers.
  4. Give it about a minute. Pro usually shows up within ten seconds; up to about a minute in the worst case we've seen.

Why this happens

Google Play remembers what you've bought against your Google account, while Fretscape ties Pro to your Fretscape account. Most of the time the two match up — but if they don't (different Google account, or you signed into Fretscape on a different email), you can end up with Play insisting you own Pro while Fretscape says you don't.

If the accounts genuinely don't match, see I bought Pro before signing in, or with a different email. That's a different problem with a different recovery path.

Still mismatched

Email help@fretscape.com with:

  • The email on your Fretscape account
  • The Google account email you bought Pro through
  • Your Google Play order ID (from play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory)

We can match the order ID to a Fretscape account from our side and either unlock Pro or talk through your options.
