Free accounts can save up to 10 favourites in total across all four types — chords, voicings, progressions, and filter presets combined. Pro removes the cap.

How the limit works

The 10-item cap counts everything in your saved items page together. Three progressions, four voicings, two chords, and one filter preset add up to 10 — the next save is blocked until you remove one. There is no separate quota per type, and the limit does not reset on a schedule.

When you reach the limit, the next save will not go through — instead, Fretscape shows an upgrade prompt. Removing an existing favourite — tap the heart on the item itself — frees a slot, and the next save goes through normally.

What Pro changes

Pro lifts the cap entirely. Save as many chords, voicings, progressions, and filter presets as you like, with no per-type limit and no overall ceiling.

If you are weighing the upgrade, What's the difference between Free and Pro? is the broader comparison, How much does Pro cost? covers the price, and How do I upgrade to Pro? walks through the upgrade itself.

A quick note on cross-platform saves

The 10-item cap is a per-account cap, not a per-device cap. A favourite saved in the Android app counts towards the same total as one saved on the web, because both live on your account. See Do my favourites sync between web and Android? for more on how that works.
