It depends where you're buying:
- On the web — payment is handled by Stripe. You'll see whichever payment methods Stripe offers in your country at checkout (typically debit/credit card, often Apple Pay and Google Pay as well).
- In the Android app — payment is handled by Google Play, using whatever payment methods you have set up on your Google account.

On the web
When you tap Upgrade Pro on the web, you're sent to Stripe's secure checkout page. The methods you'll see depend on your country, but commonly include:
- Card payments (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, others depending on country)
- Apple Pay (on supported devices)
- Google Pay (on supported devices)
- Some country-specific bank methods where Stripe supports them
Fretscape doesn't see or store your card details — Stripe handles that side of things. For more on how we handle billing data, see the Privacy Policy.
On Android
In the Android app, the upgrade goes through Google Play. You pay using whatever's set up on your Google account — that might be a card, PayPal, Google Play credit, gift cards, or carrier billing depending on where you are.
The same goes on Android: Fretscape doesn't see your payment details directly.
What if my country isn't supported?
If Stripe doesn't support your country's currency for web payments, you'll be guided toward the Android app instead, where Google Play likely supports more local payment options. Open the Android app on Google Play to see if it's available where you are.
Receipts
After payment, your receipt comes from the service that processed the payment:
- Web — Stripe emails the receipt.
- Android — Google Play emails the receipt and stores it in your Google Play purchase history.
