How do I change my tuning?
Open Settings, pick a tuning from the list, and press Save Changes. Every chord shape updates to match. Tunings beyond Standard are a Pro feature.

I changed my tuning — why do my chords look different?
A new tuning means every chord needs different finger positions, so Fretscape redraws all the shapes. It's the same chord — just played differently.

Can I create a custom tuning?
Yes — with Pro, open the Custom Tuning editor, name it, set each string's pitch, and save. Your tuning then appears in the Tuning list.

How does the capo work?
Turn the capo on in Settings and set its fret. Fretscape then shows the shapes you'd actually play with a capo clamped there. The capo is a Pro feature.

Which tunings are supported?
Fretscape includes 16 preset tunings — Standard, Drop, Open, Alternate, and Experimental — plus your own custom tunings. All but Standard are Pro.

Why can't I select a different tuning?
The Free tier includes Standard tuning only. Every other preset, custom tunings, and the capo are part of Pro, a one-time purchase.
