Fretscape lives in two places: on the web at fretscape.com, and as an Android app on Google Play. The two share the same account, so anything you save in one shows up in the other.

On the web

Open any modern browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge — and go to fretscape.com. Sign in (or create a free account if you don't have one) and you're in. There's nothing to install. The web version works on desktops, laptops, tablets, and phones.

On Android

Open the Fretscape listing on Google Play, tap Install, and then tap Open when it finishes. You can also open the Play Store on your phone or tablet and search for Fretscape. The app needs Android 7.0 or newer.

The first time the app opens it asks you to sign in. Use the same account you use on the web. If you've already saved chords or progressions on the web, they'll be waiting for you.

On iPhone or iPad

There isn't an iOS app yet — one is coming, but there's no date to share. Until then, you can use Fretscape on iPhone or iPad through the browser. Open Safari (or Chrome) and go to fretscape.com. Everything works, it just isn't packaged as an app. See Is there an iOS app? for more on this.

Switching between devices

Your saved voicings, progressions, favourites, filter preferences, and Pro unlock all travel with your account. Sign in with the same email (or Google account) on any device and pick up where you left off.

If you signed up on Android using Google and you want to sign in on the web, use the same Google account on the web sign-in screen — Fretscape recognises it as the same account.
