Solução de problemasPagamento

Most of the time, what looks like a double charge is one real payment plus a temporary hold that the bank releases within a few days. That said, if you really did pay twice, email help@fretscape.com and we'll refund the duplicate.

What you're probably seeing

Banks often place a short hold on your card the moment you start a payment, and only confirm the real charge once everything's gone through. For a few days, your statement can look like there are two payments — one is the real charge, the other is the hold that will disappear. Once the hold clears, you'll only see one payment.

Check your statement again in 3–5 working days. If only one charge is left, that was always the only real payment.

How a true double payment can happen

Fretscape's checkout actively blocks duplicates — once your account is on Pro, trying to buy Pro again is refused. So a true double charge is rare, but here's the realistic case:

  • Your first payment was slow to confirm, and the processing screen lingered.
  • You assumed it had failed and refreshed or tapped Buy again.
  • Both payments went through to the payment service before our system marked you as Pro.

Google Play won't let you buy Pro twice — it's a one-time product on its side too. So in practice this can only really happen on the web through Stripe.

What to do

  1. Wait a few days first. Check your statement again. If the second line item has disappeared, the hold has cleared and you were only ever charged once.
  2. Check your Stripe receipts. Stripe emails a receipt for every real charge. If you have two receipts (not one receipt and one bank notification), then yes, there were two real payments.
  3. Email help@fretscape.com with both receipt numbers, your account email, and rough timestamps. We'll refund the duplicate.

What about Google Play?

If you somehow do see two charges from Google Play for Fretscape Pro, raise it with Google Play first — it shouldn't have allowed a second purchase of a one-time product. Their refund flow is the fastest path. See Can I get a refund? for how Google Play refunds work.

To avoid this in the first place

If you ever see a processing screen after a purchase, don't refresh and don't tap Buy again. Give it a couple of minutes — see My purchase is pending or processing — what now?.
