Fretscape’s headline Pro price is £12.99 in the UK, but the price you see in your country is a separate local price. It is not simply £12.99 converted into your currency. That is why some countries may see a price that is higher or lower than a basic exchange-rate conversion would suggest.

How local pricing works

For each country, Fretscape uses a local Pro price that aims to be fair against typical income and purchasing power in that region.

That usually means:

  • £12.99 in the UK
  • roughly comparable pricing in much of Western Europe
  • lower prices in countries where local incomes and purchasing power are lower
  • occasional differences where regional pricing, taxes, platform fees, or checkout rules affect the final price

The price shown on the pricing page is the price you should expect to pay. It is not a marketing rate that suddenly changes at checkout.

What this is not

This is not a discount code or a temporary sale. The local price is the price.

It is not based on whether you have viewed the page before, or whether you previously opened Fretscape from another country.

Regional pricing is designed for genuine local pricing fairness, not for switching location to find the lowest available price.

What's still the same everywhere

Whatever you pay, you get the same Fretscape Pro: every voicing, every tuning, the full progression optimiser, and all filters.

Pro is Pro. The price differs; the product does not.

The price changed since I last looked

Local prices can change from time to time as exchange rates, taxes, platform fees, and regional pricing conditions move.

If you see a different number from the one you remember, that is normal. The price shown at the point of checkout is the price you will be charged.

Buying while travelling or using a VPN

If you are travelling, using a VPN, or browsing from a different country than usual, the price may be based on the country detected at checkout.

If the checkout country is different from where you usually browse from, or if the location cannot be confidently matched to a supported regional price, Fretscape may show the UK base price instead.

This keeps regional pricing fair and consistent for everyone.

Android pricing may also differ slightly from web pricing because of platform fees, which is covered separately in Why is the Android price slightly higher than the web price?.
